Traditional Korean Medicine & Acupuncture

Everyone is naturally born with weak and strong organs. The principle of acupuncture is to create a balance between them by using tonification and sedation. A powerful and concentrated method unique to Korean Acupuncture is called the Four Needles, an intensely methodical technique that involves adusting all important organs directly using four needles at a time.

Traditional Oriental medicine holds that there are as many as 2,000 acupuncture points on the human body, which are connected by 20 pathways (12 main, 8 secondary) called meridians. These meridians conduct energy, or qi (pronounced "chi"), between the surface of the body and its internal organs. Each point has a different effect on the qi that passes through it.

Dr. Kim is trained in the application of the Korean Four Needles technique. Adhereing to the important concepts in traditional acupuncture, and in combination with the expeditious delivery of the Korean 4 Needles method, this type of acupuncture treatment yields impressive results in controlling any kind of pain. Sometimes, patients have symptoms which western medicine cannot find the cause. The key of Traditional Korean Acupuncture is the systematic pattern observation that looks at the interrelationship and disharmony (imbalance between the organs), to effectively solve many illnesses that seem to have no answer.
